MICHELLE EDWARDS, LPC

Michelle Edwards is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been working in the Mobile area in the mental health field for over 20 years. She received her Master of Science in Counseling from the University of South Alabama in 1998, and she obtained her LPC in 2004. She specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, grief, self-esteem problems, stress disorders and life adjustment issues. She also has extensive experience with treating adults with substance abuse and addiction problems. She offers individual, family and marital counseling using a variety of treatment approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Rational Emotive Therapy.

REBECCA STEPHENS, LPC

Rebecca Stephens is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Science degree from the University of South Alabama. Her areas of interest include: depression, anxiety disorders, borderline personality disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, trauma work, phobias, OCD, overcoming adjustments, addiction problems, eating disorders, grief, self esteem problems, and severe mental illness. She uses an eclectic approach using evidence based practices and techniques from Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Art Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy. She is also highly trained in EMDR therapy.

ALLISON LANGAN COVINGTON, LPC

Allison Langan Covington is a compassionate and committed Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 30 years of counseling experience with adults, adolescents and families struggling with substance abuse and mental health disorders.  Following her completion of a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Auburn University, she received a Masters Degree in Counseling from the University of South Alabama, and has been licensed since 1991. Throughout her extensive career, she has been an advocate for quality patient care within substance abuse and mental health treatment. Her areas of specialty include addiction assessment, treatment, and recovery, in addition to family therapy, grief recovery, anxiety, depression, and life adjustment issues. With a client centered, trauma informed foundation, she is trained to use individualized counseling approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Rational Emotive Therapy, art therapy, Mindfulness, Gestalt Therapy and multiple solution focused therapies. Allison enjoys a variety of therapeutic approaches used individually and within groups that are experiential and interactive, leading clients to understanding, acceptance, growth, self-care and holistic healing.

Andrew Patton is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor in the state of Alabama. He has over 10 years of experience in the field of substance abuse and mental health counseling. Andrew also holds credentialing as a National Certified Counselor and Certified Addiction Counselor. He has experience working with adults, adolescents, and families looking for positive change in their lives. His areas of interest include addiction and recovery, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, personality disorders, stress management, trauma, and relationship issues. Andrew’s counseling style includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a person-centered focus while incorporating mindfulness and motivational interviewing. Through understanding and empathy, this approach supports the belief that a person can develop to achieve their desired goals.
